The present issue is the third and final part of a special issue with the theme: Greece Today: Ekistics Related Research. Focusing on implementation strategies, policies and politics, it brings to the fore discussions about the design outcomes of planning, urbanism and environmental issues, with respect to the problems that arise, and the policy evident failures (governmental or otherwise) which are often disregarded and not properly evaluated, as well as the challenges that need to be faced, and the proposed strategies for feasible solutions that can lead to a sustainable human habitat.
